Where can you watch FIFA World Cup? Not clear yet

FIFA World Cup 2026 starts June 11, but there is no official broadcaster for the event in India yet, as per FIFA's website.
Discussions are stuck as Reliance's JioStar has offered $20 million, much below FIFA’s $100 million ask, Reuters reports.
Broadcasters like Sony have opted out over low profitability. Reports suggest public broadcaster Prasar Bharati also held talks, but no update has been reported.
What's in it for you?
- •NO OFFICIAL ACCESS TO WATCH FIFA WORLD CUP: You may not be able to easily watch the World Cup if no broadcaster is chosen before the tournament begins. You may need paid/alternative platforms.
- •FIFA CLASHES WITH OTHER KEY SPORTING EVENTS: For Indian sporting fans, FIFA World Cup clashes with the Women’s T20 World Cup as well as Commonwealth Games. Also, most FIFA matches will be post midnight IST.
