The waiting list for your train journey may get shorter

Indian Railways will run 900+ special trains between April and July to handle summer travel demand, ToI reports.

These trains aim to reduce waiting lists and improve seat availability during peak holiday season.

Over 18,000 total trips are planned, covering high-demand routes across regions.

What's in it for you?

  • EASIER BOOKING: Better chances of getting confirmed tickets, reducing stress of last-minute bookings. Good news for students, tourists and migrant workers.
  • LOWER COST POSSIBLE?: More supply may help limit surge pricing in trains. This may also ease surge demand for flights/buses indirectly.
